Aspect Ecology provides technical assistance to the largest youth-led ecological restoration project in the world

As part of our charitable programme, Aspect Ecology is providing technical assistance to Action For Conservation’s ambitious Penpont Project, in the Brecon Beacons which is the first of its kind and the largest youth-led ecological restoration scheme in the world. One of the first aims of the project is to establish the ecological baseline and as part of this initial work Aspect Ecology’s Senior Ecologist, Matthew Davey, recently led groups of students to survey the habitats present with an aim to assess and identify the potential mammal interest that could be present, alongside undertaking targeted surveys for otter and badgers.
